First thing he said when I took out my phone was, "750 on pump, 800 on race gas." It was still twin-turboed, so I'm pretty skeptical. But then he pointed to an R35 across the street, and claimed it had 1000hp. Then I checked and it was that AMS one, complete with a dyno sheet. So who knows.

DAT GT-R!

The tow hook sticker is the only thing I'd change. Looks really nice.

Why would it be unable to do that with twin turbos? High hp numbers are possible to accomplish with twin turbos too, you know.

Valid. There was something about the guy I didn't like though...maybe turning it on, revving it up to redline cold, and shutting it off while the turbos were still spooling. Sounds like a future kaboom to me, poor car

I cringed when I read that. Poor thing, it won't have a long life...

That said, I wonder if the GT-R came with a warning sign or the like about not turning off the car immediately after doing doing any spirited or "race" driving. My Celica still has the factory warning sticker (in English) on the driver side door, and I'm very careful about letting it cool down before turning it off (and vice versa when starting it cold).
